Julie Jones is licensed by the state of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker, in good standing since 1994. Julie received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in 1994. For twelve years Julie worked as a pediatric social worker in Toledo, OH, specializing in the area of child abuse and neglect. In 2007 Julie moved to Medina and worked as a social worker at Akron Children’s Hospital. Julie worked as a contracted employee for Medina City Schools in Elementary Prevention. She currently works for Cornerstone Wellness, where she is currently facilitating the after school Care Team at Claggett Middle School three days a week and at AI Root Middle School one day a week. She is excited about the growth Cornerstone Wellness is currently going through and hopes to see many more community outreach programs associated with Cornerstone Wellness in the near future.
